This standard is under the jurisdiction of the China Elevator Association, and is jointly compiled by the National Elevator Quality Inspection and Testing Center, domestic universities and acoustic technology institutions. It is applicable to the whole process management of noise and vibration control of passenger lifts, goods lifts, escalators and moving walks. The core contents of the standard include: first, establishing the overall framework of elevator noise and vibration control, clarifying the responsibility and core requirements of noise and vibration control in each link of elevator design, manufacturing, installation, transformation, acceptance and operation and maintenance in accordance with the principle of "source control, process management and end treatment"; second, refining the limit standards for noise and vibration, formulating the classification limits of elevator noise and vibration for different places such as residences, hospitals, schools, office buildings and commercial buildings according to different use scenarios, among which the limit of structural sound transmission of elevators in residential bedrooms at night is not higher than 30dB(A), and the limit of operating noise in the car is not higher than 50dB(A), which far exceeds the requirements of the old version of the standard; third, standardizing the control technology in the design and manufacturing links, clarifying the vibration and noise reduction design requirements of core components such as elevator drive main engine, guide rail, door system, car and compensation device, and formulating the performance indicators and selection standards of shock absorbers, sound insulation materials and damping devices; fourth, improving the construction specifications for installation and transformation links, clarifying the vibration and noise reduction construction technology, acceptance standards and test methods for key links such as elevator machine room, shaft, car and guide rail installation, to eliminate the problem of excessive noise and vibration caused by improper installation and construction; fifth, establishing a test and evaluation system for elevator noise and vibration, unifying the methods of test environment, test instruments, measuring point layout and data processing, and formulating the classification evaluation standard of noise and vibration for elevator ride quality; sixth, refining the specifications for noise and vibration control of in-service elevators, clarifying the diagnosis methods, transformation technical schemes and acceptance standards for noise and vibration problems of old elevators, and providing technical guidance for vibration and noise reduction transformation of old elevators. The implementation of this standard comprehensively standardizes the technical requirements for noise and vibration control in China's elevator industry, promotes the overall improvement of elevator ride quality, and also provides technical support for Chinese elevator products to meet the architectural acoustic standards and living environment requirements of different countries and regions around the world, further enhancing the quality competitiveness of Chinese elevator products in the global market.
