China Elevator Association Released the Group Standard T/CEA 0063-2025 Landing Door and Car Door System for Lifts
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the China Elevator Association, and is jointly compiled by the National Elevator Quality Inspection and Testing Center and domestic door system manufacturers. It is applicable to the landing door, car door system and supporting door locking devices of traction and positive drive lifts, and is the core industry specification for the design, production, installation and inspection of elevator door systems. The core contents of the standard include: first, reconstructing the classification system of elevator door systems, dividing elevator door systems into four categories: ordinary commercial type, heavy-duty transit type, household type and special scenario type according to the use scenario, operation frequency and rated speed, and clarifying the applicable scenarios and core performance indicators of different types of door systems; second, refining the core safety performance requirements of the door locking device. For the landing door locking device, it clarifies the mandatory technical indicators of mechanical locking engagement depth, static tension and dynamic impact strength, stipulating that the locking engagement depth of the door lock shall not be less than 7mm, the static tension shall not be less than 1000N, and it must pass 1 million mechanical durability tests and 300,000 electrical durability tests; third, adding the specification for safety redundancy design of double door locks. For heavy-duty transit type and high-flow elevators, it is mandatory to equip double independent door locking devices. When one device fails, the other device can still ensure the locking safety of the door system, reducing the safety risk caused by single point failure; fourth, improving the mechanical and electrical performance requirements of the door system, clarifying the performance indicators of the door operator drive system, guide rails, pulleys and sealing devices, and formulating special standards for the operating noise, door opening and closing time, and anti-pinch protection function of the door system, among which the trigger force of the anti-pinch protection device shall not be greater than 150N; fifth, standardizing the type test and factory inspection rules, adding special test methods and judgment standards for mechanical strength test, electrical switch durability test, high and low temperature environment performance test, and salt spray corrosion test of the door locking device, and clarifying the items, procedures and validity period of the type test; sixth, refining the installation and maintenance specifications, clarifying the installation and commissioning requirements, regular inspection items, maintenance cycle and scrapping standards of the elevator door system and door locking device, stipulating that the recommended service life of the door locking device shall not exceed 10 years, and it must be replaced compulsorily when the service life is reached. The implementation of this standard has comprehensively standardized the production and application of elevator door systems and door locking devices in China, reduced the risk of safety accidents caused by elevator door system failures from the core component level, and also promoted the full integration of China's elevator door system and door locking device products with the international market, further enhancing the competitiveness of China's elevator core components in the global market.
