Applicable to new and renovated elevators, core clauses:

① Car dimensions: minimum internal width ≥1500mm, depth ≥1600mm, ensuring 360° wheelchair rotation;

② Control panels: low-level buttons (height 900–1100mm), dual braille + voice prompts, floor selection button diameter ≥40mm;

③ Door systems: opening time ≥3 seconds, anti-pinch protection (light curtain + safety edge), door width ≥900mm;

④ Emergency functions: luminous emergency buttons, one-key call to rescue center, voice comfort in case of failure;

⑤ Signage system: braille floors, direction indicators and accessibility symbols inside and outside the car.


The standard is mandatorily included in supervision inspection items, unqualified elevators shall not be put into use, promoting China's accessible elevator construction to reach international advanced levels.
