This action plan is jointly compiled by the China Elevator Association, the National Technical Committee for Elevator Standardization of China, and domestic scientific research institutions, and is an industry special action plan to implement the national "dual carbon" strategy. The plan sets three core development goals for 2025-2027: first, by the end of 2027, among the newly produced elevators in China, the proportion of high-energy-efficiency elevators of grade A2 and above will reach more than 90%, and low-energy-efficiency elevators of grade D and below will be completely eliminated; second, by the end of 2027, the carbon emission per unit output value of the elevator industry's manufacturing link will decrease by more than 18% compared with 2024, and more than 10 green and low-carbon demonstration factories in the elevator industry will be built; third, by the end of 2027, the recycling rate of remanufactured core elevator components and reused old components will reach more than 60%, and a circular economy system for the whole life cycle of elevators will be basically formed. The plan clarifies six key tasks: first, accelerating the innovation of green energy-saving technologies, focusing on breaking through core energy-saving technologies such as permanent magnet synchronous high-efficiency drive, energy feedback, energy storage and energy saving, and intelligent group control, to promote the continuous improvement of elevator energy efficiency; second, promoting the low-carbon transformation of production and manufacturing, promoting green manufacturing processes, the use of clean energy, and digital low-carbon production management to reduce carbon emissions in the production link; third, building a circular economy development system, improving the whole chain standards and specifications for elevator component remanufacturing, old elevator recycling, and harmless disposal of waste, to promote the development of circular economy in the elevator industry; fourth, improving the green and low-carbon standard system, accelerating the formulation of relevant standards for elevator energy efficiency, low-carbon manufacturing, recycling, and carbon footprint accounting, and promoting the integration of China's green elevator standards with international standards; fifth, promoting the market application of green elevators, and promoting high-energy-efficiency, low-emission green elevator products in combination with the renewal and transformation of old elevators and the elevator configuration of new residential buildings; sixth, deepening international green and low-carbon cooperation, promoting the overseas expansion of China's green elevator technology, products and standards, and participating in the formulation of green and low-carbon rules for the global elevator industry. The implementation of this plan will comprehensively promote the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of China's elevator industry, enhance the core competitiveness of China's green elevator products in the global market, and provide Chinese solutions and technical support for the green and low-carbon transformation of the global elevator industry.
