The International Lift Expo Korea is the largest and only professional exhibition for the elevator industry in South Korea, as well as the core elevator professional exhibition in Northeast Asia. It is hosted by the Ministry of Interior and Safety of South Korea and held every year. It is the core channel for elevator procurement, technical exchange and agency cooperation in the South Korean and Northeast Asian markets. With the theme of "Safety · Intelligence · Sustainability", the 2026 exhibition is expected to attract more than 200 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions around the world, with more than 12,000 professional visitors, more than 90% of whom are housing and construction departments, real estate developers, engineering contractors, elevator agents and traders from Northeast Asian countries such as South Korea, Japan, North Korea and Mongolia. This Chinese delegation is uniformly organized by the China Elevator Association. The core planning includes: first, setting up an exclusive exhibition area for China's elevator industry, divided into six exhibition sections: passenger elevators, escalators, core components, old elevator transformation, smart elevators, and energy-saving elevators, comprehensively displaying the whole industrial chain supply capacity of China's elevator industry, and focusing on adapting to the elevator procurement demand of old elevator renewal and transformation, commercial buildings and rail transit in the Northeast Asian market; second, holding the China-South Korea Elevator Industry Cooperation and Development Forum during the same period, inviting the Ministry of Housing and Construction of South Korea, the Korea Elevator Association, the Japan Elevator Association, large infrastructure and real estate enterprises to participate, interpreting the access policy, standard requirements, certification system and market opportunities of the Northeast Asian elevator market, and promoting the mutual recognition and cooperation between Chinese elevator standards and the national standards of South Korea and Japan; third, organizing accurate one-to-one trade matching meetings to provide exclusive matching services for Chinese exhibitors and purchasers, agents and engineering contractors from various countries in Northeast Asia, focusing on the elevator procurement demand of urban renewal, old elevator transformation, and new energy infrastructure projects in South Korea and Japan; fourth, setting up a special area for the release of Chinese elevator standards and technical achievements, focusing on releasing the latest national standards, international standards and technological innovation achievements of China's elevator industry, focusing on promoting high-energy-efficiency, low-carbon environmental protection and intelligent elevator products that meet South Korean and Japanese standards, and enhancing the brand influence of China's elevator industry in the Northeast Asian market; fifth, supporting the inspection activities of the Northeast Asian elevator market. After the exhibition, Chinese enterprises will be organized to carry out market inspection and industry docking in Seoul, Busan, South Korea and Tokyo, Japan, to deepen the whole industrial chain cooperation between China and South Korea, China and Japan in the elevator industry. South Korea is the core elevator market in Northeast Asia and an important destination for China's elevator component exports. In 2024, China's export volume of elevators and components to South Korea increased by 14.2% year-on-year. This participation will further expand the share of Chinese elevator products in the high-end Northeast Asian market and promote the in-depth integration of China's elevator industry with the Northeast Asian market.
