The Elevator Show Dubai is the largest and only professional exhibition for the elevator industry in the Middle East. It is co-hosted by Germany's AFAG Exhibition Company and Elevator World magazine, and is held every two years. It is the core channel for elevator procurement, technical exchange and agency cooperation in the Middle East and North Africa. With the theme of "Innovation · Sustainability · Empowering Vertical Travel in the Middle East", the 2026 exhibition is expected to break through 30,000 square meters of exhibition scale, and will attract more than 280 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions around the world, with more than 18,000 professional visitors, more than 90% of whom are housing and construction departments, real estate developers, engineering contractors, elevator agents and traders from Middle East and North African countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Egypt. This Chinese delegation is uniformly organized by the China Elevator Association. The core planning includes: first, setting up an exclusive themed exhibition area for China's elevator industry, divided into six exhibition sections: ultra-high speed elevators, commercial passenger elevators, escalators, home lifts, core components, and old elevator transformation, comprehensively displaying the whole industrial chain supply capacity of China's elevator industry, and focusing on adapting to the elevator procurement demand of super high-rise landmark buildings, commercial complexes, cultural and tourism projects, and high-end residences in the Middle East market; second, holding the China-Middle East Elevator Industry Cooperation and Development Forum during the same period, inviting the Ministry of Housing and Construction of the United Arab Emirates, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing of Saudi Arabia, elevator industry institutions and large infrastructure enterprises from various Middle Eastern countries to participate, interpreting the access policy, standard requirements, certification system and market opportunities of the Middle East elevator market, and promoting the mutual recognition and cooperation between Chinese elevator standards and the GSO standards of Gulf countries; third, organizing accurate one-to-one trade matching meetings to provide exclusive matching services for Chinese exhibitors and purchasers, agents and engineering contractors from various Middle Eastern countries, focusing on the elevator procurement demand in the infrastructure plans of Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030" and the United Arab Emirates' "Vision 2031"; fourth, setting up a special area for the release of Chinese elevator standards and technical achievements, focusing on releasing the latest national standards, international standards and technological innovation achievements of China's elevator industry, focusing on promoting anti-corrosion, high temperature resistant and high-reliability elevator products adapted to the high temperature, wind sand and high salt spray environment in the Middle East, and enhancing the brand influence of China's elevator industry in the Middle East market; fifth, supporting the Middle East elevator market inspection activities. After the exhibition, Chinese enterprises will be organized to carry out market inspection and industry docking in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh, to deepen the whole industrial chain cooperation between China and the Middle East in the elevator industry. The Middle East is one of the core high-end markets for China's elevator exports. In 2024, China's export volume of elevators and components to the Gulf Arab countries increased by 22.8% year-on-year. This participation will further expand the share of Chinese elevator products in the Middle East market and promote the in-depth integration of China's elevator industry with the Middle East infrastructure market.
