This standard is formulated under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Elevator Standardization of China. It is applicable to electrical control panels matched with lifts, escalators and moving walks, covering the whole life cycle management of control panel design, production, inspection, installation, operation and maintenance. Compared with the old version, the core upgrades of this revision include: first, reconstructing the control panel classification system, dividing into two categories: for lifts, for escalators/moving walks according to the applicable equipment type, and four categories: general type, intelligent type, explosion-proof type and energy storage type according to functional characteristics, adding special technical requirements for intelligent IoT control panels, explosion-proof elevator control panels, and control panels matched with energy feedback energy storage systems; second, refining the electrical safety and protection requirements, clarifying the mandatory indicators of insulation performance, withstand voltage performance, grounding protection, short circuit protection and overload protection of the control panel, tightening the limit requirements of electrical clearance and creepage distance, and clarifying the protection grade requirements of the control panel for different use environments, the protection grade of control panels for outdoor and humid environments shall not be lower than IP54; third, improving the electromagnetic compatibility and environmental adaptability requirements, upgrading the electromagnetic compatibility performance test standard of the control panel, clarifying the mandatory limits of radio frequency radiation, electrostatic discharge, electrical fast transient burst, and surge immunity, to ensure that the control panel will not produce electromagnetic interference to surrounding electrical equipment, and can resist external electromagnetic interference; for extreme environments such as high temperature, high humidity, low temperature and vibration, special environmental adaptability test standards are formulated; fourth, standardizing the special requirements for intelligent control panels, formulating special technical specifications for data transmission, edge computing, fault early warning and remote operation and maintenance for control panels with IoT, remote monitoring and intelligent control functions, clarifying the protection requirements for data security and network security, and forming a full connection with the Cyber Security Law and Data Security Law; fifth, improving the type test and factory inspection rules, adding special test methods and judgment standards for high and low temperature cycle test, salt spray corrosion test, long-term operation stability test and intelligent function effectiveness test of the control panel, clarifying the items, procedures and validity period of type tests, and tightening the sampling rules and qualification judgment criteria for factory inspection; sixth, clarifying the installation, commissioning and operation and maintenance specifications, refining the installation and fixation, cable connection, grounding construction and on-site commissioning requirements of the control panel, formulating the cycle and project requirements for daily inspection, regular maintenance and function detection, and clarifying the replacement cycle and scrapping judgment standards of the core electrical components of the control panel. The implementation of this standard has comprehensively standardized the production and application market of elevator control panels in China, improved the safety, stability and intelligence level of elevator electrical control systems, and also promoted the full integration of China's elevator control system products with the international market, further consolidating the competitiveness of China's elevator electrical core components in the global market.
