This standard is jointly formulated under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Elevator Standardization and the National Technical Committee for Fire Protection Standardization of China. It is applicable to traction and positive drive lifts installed in civil buildings, covering the whole scenarios of fire emergency return function of ordinary lifts and special operation mode of fire lifts. The core contents of the standard include: first, clarifying the division of fire protection functions between fire lifts and ordinary lifts, formulating special requirements for special operation mode, control logic and safety protection of fire lifts under fire scenarios, and clarifying the mandatory functional requirements of emergency return, door opening and stopping, and power-off locking of ordinary lifts under fire alarm linkage; second, refining the control logic of fire emergency operation, mandating that after receiving the fire alarm signal, the elevator must immediately cancel all call instructions, automatically return to the designated evacuation floor and open the door, cut off the call function in the car, and strictly prohibit the normal passenger operation of the elevator in fire state; clarifying the functional requirements, operation process and safety protection standards of the firefighter operation mode of the fire lift; third, improving the electrical safety and fire protection requirements, formulating special technical requirements for fire resistance, high temperature resistance and waterproof for the elevator fire control circuit and emergency power supply system, mandating that the control cables and power cables of the fire lift must adopt fire-resistant cables, and the emergency power supply switching time shall not be greater than 0.5s; fourth, standardizing the fire linkage and communication requirements, clarifying the communication protocol and signal interface specifications between the elevator and the building automatic fire alarm system and fire linkage control system, to ensure the accurate transmission and rapid response of fire alarm signals; fifth, improving the installation and acceptance standards, formulating special specifications for on-site commissioning, function test and acceptance inspection of elevator fire emergency functions, clarifying the inspection items and qualification judgment criteria for fire protection functions of fire lifts and ordinary lifts, and incorporating the fire emergency operation function into the mandatory items of elevator supervision inspection and regular inspection; sixth, refining the operation and maintenance and regular inspection specifications, formulating the cycle and project requirements for daily inspection, regular test and maintenance of elevator fire emergency functions, clarifying that at least one full-function fire emergency test shall be carried out every year to ensure the normal activation of functions in fire scenarios. The implementation of this standard has comprehensively standardized the design and application of fire emergency operation of elevators in China, improved the safety control ability of elevators in fire scenarios from the level of building fire protection, and also promoted the full integration of China's fire lift products with the international market, providing standardized technical support for the export of China's elevator products to the global building fire protection supporting market.
