The Moscow International Elevator Exhibition in Russia is the largest and most influential professional exhibition for the elevator industry in Eastern Europe and the CIS region. It is held every year and is the core channel for elevator procurement, technical exchange and agency cooperation in Russia and Eastern Europe. With the theme of "Innovation · Safety · Sustainability", the 2025 exhibition has an exhibition area of 45,000 square meters, attracting more than 380 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions around the world, with more than 25,000 professional visitors, more than 85% of whom are housing and construction departments, real estate developers, engineering contractors, elevator agents and traders from Eastern Europe and CIS countries such as Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Poland. This Chinese delegation is uniformly organized by the China Elevator Association. The core highlights include: first, setting up an exclusive themed exhibition area for China's elevator industry, divided into six exhibition sections: passenger elevators, goods elevators, escalators, home lifts, core components, and old elevator transformation, comprehensively displaying the whole industrial chain supply capacity of China's elevator industry, and focusing on adapting to the elevator procurement demand of old elevator renewal and transformation, commercial complexes, residential construction and industrial plants in the Russian market; second, holding the China-Russia Elevator Industry Cooperation Forum during the same period, inviting the Ministry of Housing and Construction of Russia, the Russia Elevator Association, industry institutions and large infrastructure enterprises from various Eastern European countries to participate, interpreting the access policy, standard requirements, customs certification system and market opportunities of the Russian and CIS elevator markets, and promoting the mutual recognition and cooperation between Chinese elevator standards and Russian GOST standards; third, organizing accurate one-to-one trade matching meetings, receiving more than 3,500 purchasers from Eastern Europe and CIS regions in total, and reaching intended cooperation orders of more than 210 million US dollars, covering multiple fields such as complete elevator export, core component supply, overseas maintenance services, and old elevator transformation cooperation; fourth, focusing on the environmental characteristics of severe cold, large temperature difference and unstable power grid in Russia and Eastern Europe, displaying Chinese customized low-temperature resistant, wide voltage adaptive, high-reliability elevator products, which have been highly recognized by local purchasers. Russia is the largest single national market for China's elevator exports. In 2024, China's export volume of elevators and components to Russia increased by 36.8% year-on-year. This participation has further expanded the share of Chinese elevator products in Russia, Eastern Europe and CIS markets, and promoted the in-depth integration of China's elevator industry with the Eastern European infrastructure market.
