China Elevator Association Released the Group Standard T/CEA 0145-2026 Technical Specification for Elevator Emergency Leveling Devices
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the China Elevator Association, and is jointly compiled by the National Elevator Quality Inspection and Testing Center and domestic emergency leveling device manufacturers. It is applicable to emergency leveling devices matched with traction-driven lifts and hydraulic lifts with rated speed no more than 10m/s, covering the whole life cycle management of device design, production, inspection, installation, operation and maintenance. The core contents of the standard include: first, establishing the classification system of emergency leveling devices, dividing them into three categories: UPS type, battery type and generator type according to the power supply mode, and two categories: automatic type and manual type according to the control mode, and clarifying the applicable scenarios and core functional requirements of different types of devices; second, refining the core performance technical requirements, clarifying the mandatory indicators of emergency power supply capacity, leveling accuracy, response time and operating speed of the emergency leveling device, stipulating that the device must start automatically within 30 seconds after the elevator power failure, complete the emergency leveling and door opening actions, the leveling accuracy is no more than ±5mm, and a single emergency power supply must complete at least 3 complete leveling operation cycles; third, improving the safety protection and electrical performance requirements, mandating that the emergency leveling device must be equipped with overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, short circuit and overheat protection functions, clarifying the insulation performance, withstand voltage performance and electromagnetic compatibility performance indicators of the device, and formulating special safety requirements for devices used in special scenes such as explosion-proof elevators and hospital lifts; fourth, standardizing the environmental adaptability and reliability requirements, formulating the environmental adaptability test standards of the device for extreme environments such as high temperature, high humidity, low temperature and salt spray, stipulating that the device must still meet the standard requirements after 1000 emergency operation cycle tests, and the design service life is no less than 10 years; fifth, improving the type test and factory inspection rules, clarifying the mandatory inspection items, test methods and judgment standards of the type test of emergency leveling devices, tightening the sampling rules and qualification judgment criteria of factory inspection, mandating that each device must pass the full project inspection before leaving the factory; sixth, clarifying the installation, commissioning and operation and maintenance specifications, refining the adaptive installation and commissioning requirements of the emergency leveling device and the elevator control system, formulating the cycle and project requirements for daily inspection, regular maintenance and battery replacement of the device, and clarifying the scrapping judgment standard and replacement cycle of the device. The implementation of this standard has comprehensively standardized the production and application market of elevator emergency leveling devices in China, improved the emergency rescue capacity of elevators during power failure, reduced the occurrence probability of elevator trapped events, and also promoted the integration of China's elevator emergency leveling device products with the international market, providing standardized technical support for the global export of China's elevator emergency rescue products.
