This standard is under the jurisdiction of the China Elevator Association, and is jointly compiled by domestic architectural design and research institutes and inclined lift manufacturers. It is applicable to traction and positive drive inclined lifts running along inclined guide rails with an angle of no more than 75° with the horizontal plane and rated speed no more than 4m/s, covering inclined lifts in all scenarios such as indoor, outdoor, mountainous areas, scenic spots and rail transit. The core contents of the standard include: first, establishing the classification system of inclined lifts, dividing them into three categories: small inclination angle (≤15°), medium inclination angle (15°~45°), and large inclination angle (45°~75°) according to the operating inclination angle, and four categories: barrier-free type, mountain building type, scenic spot sightseeing type, and rail transit type according to the use scenarios, and clarifying the applicable scenarios and core technical indicators of different types of lifts; second, refining the design specifications of the car and guide system, formulating special design requirements for car anti-overturning, anti-skid, seat fixing and handrail configuration in view of the inclined operation characteristics of inclined lifts, clarifying the strength and stiffness design standards of the guide rail system, guide wheels and support structure, mandating that inclined lifts with large inclination angle must be equipped with double anti-fall safety gears and overspeed protection devices; third, improving the operation performance and safety protection requirements, clarifying the operating speed, acceleration and deceleration, leveling accuracy and noise limit of inclined lifts, mandating that inclined lifts must be equipped with inclination angle adaptive control system, car level keeping device and full-range position monitoring system, and formulating special safety protection requirements for scenarios such as personnel overload, car eccentric load and guide rail failure; fourth, standardizing the special requirements for outdoor inclined lifts, formulating special technical requirements for waterproof, dustproof, sun protection, wind pressure resistance, lightning protection, high and low temperature resistance for outdoor installed inclined lifts, and clarifying the operation control and emergency protection measures under extreme weather; fifth, clarifying the installation and acceptance standards, formulating special construction specifications for inclined guide rail installation, shaft structure adaptation and equipment installation and commissioning of inclined lifts, clarifying the on-site performance test items and qualification judgment criteria of inclined lifts with different inclination angles, and incorporating the special safety functions of inclined lifts into the mandatory items of supervision and inspection; sixth, refining the operation and maintenance and safety management requirements, formulating the cycle and project requirements for regular inspection and maintenance of inclined lifts in view of the characteristics of inclined operation and high-load use of inclined lifts, and clarifying the regular inspection standards and scrapping and replacement requirements of the guide rail system, braking system and safety devices. The implementation of this standard has comprehensively standardized the production and installation market of inclined lifts in China, promoted the standardized and normalized development of inclined lift technology, and also provided standardized technical support for the global export of China's inclined lift products, adapting to the supporting elevator procurement demand of global mountain buildings, tourist attractions and barrier-free facility construction.
