This standard is under the jurisdiction of the China Elevator Association, and is jointly compiled by the National Elevator Quality Inspection and Testing Center and domestic dumbwaiter manufacturers. It is applicable to dumbwaiters with rated load no more than 500kg, rated speed no more than 1m/s and non-accessible car, covering the whole life cycle management of indoor and outdoor dumbwaiters in all scenarios. The core contents of the standard include: first, establishing the classification system of dumbwaiters, dividing them into three categories: traction type, positive drive type and hydraulic type according to the driving mode, and three categories: catering special type, hospital special type and commercial general type according to the use scenarios, and clarifying the applicable scenarios and core technical indicators of different types of lifts; second, refining the design specifications of the car and shaft, in view of the non-accessible safety requirements of dumbwaiters, mandating that the internal height of the car is no more than 1.2m, the effective area is no more than 1.0 ㎡, and strictly prohibiting the setting of accessible car structure; clarifying the special design requirements for shaft enclosure, protection and fire prevention, the shaft wall must be made of non-combustible materials, and the landing door must be equipped with mechanical locking and electrical interlock devices; third, improving the requirements of the safety protection system, mandating that dumbwaiters must be equipped with multiple safety protection devices such as overspeed protection, rope break protection, overload protection, limit protection and ultimate protection, and formulating special safety interlock control requirements for scenarios such as landing door opening, car overload and operation failure, and strictly prohibiting elevator operation when the landing door is open; fourth, standardizing the special requirements for dumbwaiters dedicated to catering and hospitals, formulating special technical requirements for food-grade car materials, waterproof, easy to clean and oil-proof for food lifts in the catering industry; for hospital dumbwaiters, formulating special design specifications for corrosion resistance, easy disinfection and sterile protection, adapting to the transportation needs of medical waste, medicines and instruments; fifth, clarifying the installation and acceptance standards, formulating special specifications for shaft construction, equipment installation and commissioning, and on-site performance testing of dumbwaiters, clarifying the acceptance inspection items, test methods and qualification judgment criteria of dumbwaiters, and incorporating safety protection functions into the mandatory items of supervision and inspection; sixth, refining the operation and maintenance and safety management requirements, formulating the cycle and project requirements for daily inspection, regular maintenance and regular inspection of dumbwaiters in view of the characteristics of high-frequency and high-load use of dumbwaiters, clarifying the regular inspection standards and scrapping replacement requirements of landing door locks, safety devices and drive systems, and strictly prohibiting the manned operation of dumbwaiters. The implementation of this standard has comprehensively standardized the production, installation and application market of dumbwaiters in China, improved the safety performance and product quality of dumbwaiters, and also promoted the integration of China's dumbwaiter products with the international market, providing Chinese standards and Chinese solutions for the procurement of dumbwaiters in global catering, hotel and commercial scenarios.
