China Elevator Association Released the Group Standard T/CEA 0153-2026 Technical Specification for Mine Lifts
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the China Elevator Association, and is jointly compiled by the China National Coal Association and domestic mine elevator manufacturers. It is applicable to traction and positive drive mine lifts with rated load of 1000kg~10000kg and rated speed no more than 4m/s installed in underground mines, covering underground elevators in all scenarios of coal mines, metal mines and non-metal mines. The core contents of the standard include: first, establishing the classification system of mine lifts, dividing them into three categories: personnel transportation type, material transportation type, and passenger-cargo dual-purpose type according to the use function, and two categories: underground coal mine use and underground metal and non-metal mine use according to the applicable mine type, and clarifying the applicable scenarios and core technical indicators of different types of lifts; second, refining the adaptive design specifications for underground mine environment, formulating the dustproof, waterproof, anti-corrosion and anti-vibration design requirements of the complete elevator and core components in view of the environmental characteristics of high humidity, high dust, strong vibration and harmful gases such as gas in underground mines. For elevators used in underground coal mines, it is mandatory to meet the requirements of Mine Product Safety Mark (MA) certification and have explosion-proof safety performance in gas environment; third, improving the design requirements of the safety protection system, mandating that mine lifts must be equipped with multiple safety protection devices such as dual independent braking systems, overspeed protection, rope break protection, overwind protection, rope slack protection and overload protection, and clarifying the special requirements for emergency leveling, emergency stop and personnel evacuation for extreme scenarios such as underground power failure, gas overrun and fire; fourth, standardizing the electrical safety and explosion-proof requirements, clarifying the power supply system, grounding protection and electrical interlock control requirements of mine lifts. The electrical equipment of underground coal mine lifts must adopt mine flameproof and intrinsic safety design, meet the national mine explosion-proof electrical equipment standards, and strictly prohibit non-explosion-proof electrical equipment from entering the well; fifth, clarifying the installation and acceptance standards, formulating special construction specifications for underground installation, shaft structure adaptation and equipment commissioning of mine lifts, clarifying the underground on-site acceptance items, performance test standards and qualification judgment criteria of mine lifts, and incorporating explosion-proof performance and safety protection functions into the mandatory items of supervision and inspection; sixth, refining the operation and maintenance and safety management requirements, formulating the cycle and project requirements for daily inspection, regular maintenance and regular inspection of mine lifts in view of the high-load and harsh environment use characteristics of underground mines, clarifying the regular inspection and scrapping replacement standards of core components, forming a full connection with the mine safety regulations, and strictly prohibiting the elevator from running with faults. The implementation of this standard has comprehensively standardized the production and installation market of mine lifts in China, improved the safety and efficiency of vertical transportation in underground mines, helped mine safety production and intelligent construction, and also provided standardized technical support for the export of China's mine lift products to the global mine market.
