The Moscow International Elevator Exhibition in Russia is the largest and most influential professional exhibition for the elevator industry in Russian-speaking countries. It is held every two years and is one of the world's top five elevator exhibitions. It is the core channel for elevator procurement, technical exchange and agency cooperation in the Russian and Eastern European markets. With the theme of "Safety · Innovation · Localized Cooperation", the 2025 exhibition attracted more than 200 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions around the world, with more than 15,000 professional visitors, more than 90% of whom are housing and construction departments, real estate developers, engineering contractors, elevator agents and traders from Russian-speaking countries such as Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. This Chinese delegation is uniformly organized by the China Elevator Association. The core highlights include: first, setting up an exclusive themed exhibition area for China's elevator industry, divided into five exhibition sections: passenger elevators, goods elevators, escalators, core components, and old elevator transformation, comprehensively displaying the whole industrial chain supply capacity of China's elevator industry, and focusing on adapting to the needs of old elevator renewal and transformation and affordable housing construction in the Russian and Eastern European markets; second, holding the China-Russian Speaking Region Elevator Industry Cooperation Forum during the same period, inviting housing and construction departments of Russia, the Russian Elevator Association, industry institutions and large infrastructure enterprises from Belarus, Kazakhstan and other countries to participate, interpreting the access policy, standard requirements and market opportunities of the elevator market in the Russian-speaking region, and promoting the mutual recognition and cooperation between Chinese elevator standards and national standards in the Russian-speaking region; third, organizing accurate one-to-one trade matching meetings, receiving more than 2,600 purchasers from the Russian-speaking region in total, and reaching intended cooperation orders of more than 210 million US dollars, covering multiple fields such as complete elevator export, core component supply, overseas maintenance services, and old elevator transformation cooperation; fourth, focusing on the severe cold and earthquake-prone environmental characteristics of Russia and Eastern Europe, displaying Chinese customized cold-resistant and earthquake-resistant elevator products and technical solutions, which have been highly recognized by local purchasers. According to customs statistics, in 2024, China exported 7,348 passenger elevators to Russia, with an export value of more than 1.17 billion yuan, and 400 escalators and moving walks. This participation has further consolidated the core share of Chinese elevator products in the Russian and Eastern European markets, and promoted the in-depth cooperation of the whole industrial chain between China's elevator industry and the Russian-speaking market.
