From May 8th to 11th, 2024, the 16th China International Elevator Exhibition successfully concluded at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Organized by the China Elevator Association, this exhibition is one of the largest and most influential professional exhibitions in the global elevator industry. With an exhibition area of 73,000 square meters, it gathered 957 exhibiting companies from more than 30 countries and regions around the world. During the exhibition, the number of professional visitors exceeded 107,000, including 5,981 overseas visitors, setting a new record for the exhibition. Focusing on core themes such as high-quality development, technological innovation, green and low-carbon initiatives, and safety upgrades in the elevator industry, the exhibition featured multiple themed exhibition areas including complete elevator machines, core components, intelligent technology, maintenance services, and elevator retrofits. Over 30 professional forums and exchange activities were held concurrently, such as the Global Elevator Industry Summit, the Elevator Technology Standards Seminar, the Old Elevator Renovation and Transformation Forum, and the International Elevator Trade Matchmaking Event. Experts, scholars, business representatives, and regulatory agency heads from the global elevator industry gathered to engage in in-depth discussions and exchanges on core topics such as the future development direction of the elevator industry, technological innovation trends, standard system construction, and international trade cooperation. The exhibition served as a core platform for technical exchanges, trade cooperation, and brand showcase for the global elevator industry. The exhibition organizing committee officially announced that the 17th China International Elevator Exhibition in 2026 will be held from May 20th to 23rd at the Canton Fair Complex (Guangzhou). Leveraging Guangzhou's location advantage as a core port city for China's foreign trade, the exhibition aims to serve South China and radiate globally, assisting elevator companies in expanding overseas markets, participating in global competition, further enhancing the international influence of the exhibition, and promoting exchanges and cooperation in the global elevator industry.
