This standard is the core general specification for China's elevator maintenance industry. The 2025 version adds special maintenance requirements for smart elevators, machine-room-less elevators, old elevator renovation and other scenarios, clarifies the hierarchical operation standards for daily maintenance, fault repair, overhaul and transformation of elevators, and standardizes the core contents such as maintenance record archiving, personnel qualification, and safety operation process. After the implementation of the standard, it will unify the technical requirements of the domestic elevator maintenance industry, improve the safety level of elevator operation, and provide a Chinese standard basis for the international trade of elevator maintenance services.
