The Malaysia International Elevator Exhibition is the largest and most influential professional exhibition for the elevator industry in Malaysia and the high-end ASEAN market. It is held every two years and is the core channel for elevator procurement, technical exchange and agency cooperation in developed ASEAN countries such as Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. With the theme of "Innovation · Intelligence · Sustainability · Empowering High-End Vertical Travel in Southeast Asia", the 2026 exhibition is expected to break through 15,000 square meters of exhibition scale, and will attract more than 190 exhibitors from 22 countries and regions around the world, with more than 10,000 professional visitors, more than 90% of whom are housing and construction departments, real estate developers, engineering contractors, elevator agents and traders from ASEAN countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Thailand and Indonesia. This Chinese delegation is uniformly organized by the China Elevator Association. The core planning includes: first, setting up an exclusive themed exhibition area for China's elevator industry, divided into six exhibition sections: high-end passenger elevators, intelligent home lifts, escalators, core components, old elevator transformation, and intelligent elevator systems, comprehensively displaying the whole industrial chain supply capacity of China's elevator industry, and focusing on adapting to the elevator procurement demand of high-end residences, commercial complexes, rail transit and airport projects in Malaysia and Singapore; second, holding the China-ASEAN High-End Elevator Industry Cooperation Forum during the same period, inviting the Ministry of Housing and Construction of Malaysia, the Malaysia Elevator Association, the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore, industry institutions and large infrastructure enterprises from various ASEAN countries to participate, interpreting the access policy, standard requirements, certification system and market opportunities of the high-end ASEAN elevator market, and promoting the mutual recognition and cooperation between Chinese elevator standards and the national standards of Malaysia and Singapore; third, organizing accurate one-to-one trade matching meetings to provide exclusive matching services for Chinese exhibitors and purchasers, agents and engineering contractors in the high-end ASEAN market, focusing on the elevator procurement and transformation needs in Malaysia's "Greater Kuala Lumpur Plan" and Singapore's urban renewal plan; fourth, setting up a special area for the release of Chinese elevator standards and technical achievements, focusing on releasing the latest national standards, international standards and technological innovation achievements of China's elevator industry, focusing on promoting high-reliability, energy-saving and intelligent elevator products adapted to the high temperature, high humidity and coastal high salt spray environment in Southeast Asia, and enhancing the brand influence of China's elevator industry in the high-end ASEAN market; fifth, supporting the inspection activities of the high-end elevator market in ASEAN. After the exhibition, Chinese enterprises will be organized to carry out market inspection and industry docking in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Singapore, to deepen the whole industrial chain cooperation between China and the high-end elevator market in ASEAN. Malaysia is the core high-end export market for Chinese elevator products in ASEAN. In 2024, China's export volume of elevators and components to Malaysia increased by 24.6% year-on-year, and the export volume to Singapore increased by 21.8% year-on-year. This participation will further expand the share of Chinese elevator products in the high-end ASEAN market and promote the in-depth integration of China's elevator industry with the high-end infrastructure market in Southeast Asia.
