This standard is formulated under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Elevator Standardization of China, and is applicable to the energy-saving design, production, inspection and evaluation of various traction-driven elevators such as passenger elevators, goods elevators and home elevators. Compared with the old version, the core upgrades of this revision include: first, reconstructing the elevator energy efficiency grade classification system, expanding from the original three grades A, B, C to five grades A1, A2, B, C, D, with greatly improved classification accuracy, which can accurately match the evaluation needs of energy saving levels of elevators in different scenarios and specifications; second, upgrading the core energy-saving technical indicators, clarifying the performance requirements of core energy-saving components such as permanent magnet synchronous drive main engines, energy feedback devices, and intelligent group control systems, and stipulating that the conversion efficiency of energy feedback devices shall not be less than 90%, filling the technical gap of the old version; third, adding a calculation method for the whole life cycle energy consumption of elevators, refining the test and calculation standards for standby energy consumption, no-load energy consumption and operating energy consumption, and establishing a whole-process energy saving evaluation system; fourth, adding technical specifications for new technologies such as energy storage elevator energy saving and photovoltaic matching elevator energy saving, adapting to the latest technological development trend of the industry; fifth, clarifying the inspection rules and certification standards for elevator energy-saving products, providing a unified technical basis for the market promotion and international trade of energy-saving elevator products. The implementation of this standard will promote the comprehensive upgrading of green energy-saving technology in China's elevator industry, enhance the core competitiveness of China's energy-saving elevator products in the global market, and adapt to the low-carbon policies and energy efficiency access requirements of major global markets such as Europe and Southeast Asia.
