The Sydney International Elevator Exhibition in Australia is the largest and most influential professional exhibition for the elevator industry in Oceania. It is held every two years and is the core channel for elevator procurement, technical exchange and agency cooperation in Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific island countries. With the theme of "Innovation · Safety · Sustainability · Empowering Vertical Travel in Oceania", the 2025 exhibition has an exhibition area of 8,000 square meters, attracting more than 130 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions around the world, with more than 7,000 professional visitors, more than 85% of whom are housing and construction departments, real estate developers, engineering contractors, elevator agents and traders from Oceania countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea. This Chinese delegation is uniformly organized by the China Elevator Association. The core highlights include: first, setting up an exclusive themed exhibition area for China's elevator industry, divided into six exhibition sections: home lifts, high-end passenger elevators, escalators, core components, old elevator transformation, and intelligent elevator systems, comprehensively displaying the whole industrial chain supply capacity of China's elevator industry, and focusing on adapting to the elevator procurement demand of high-end residences, commercial complexes, old building transformation and cultural and tourism projects in Australia; second, holding the China-Oceania Elevator Industry Cooperation Forum during the same period, inviting the Ministry of Housing and Construction of Australia, the Australia Elevator Association, the New Zealand Building Industry Association and large infrastructure enterprises to participate, interpreting the access policy, standard requirements, AS/NZS certification system and market opportunities of the Oceania elevator market, and promoting the mutual recognition and cooperation between Chinese elevator standards and Australian and New Zealand national standards; third, organizing accurate one-to-one trade matching meetings, receiving more than 1,600 purchasers from Oceania in total, and reaching intended cooperation orders of more than 98 million US dollars, covering multiple fields such as home lift export, core component supply, overseas maintenance services, and old elevator transformation cooperation; fourth, focusing on the environmental characteristics of high temperature, strong ultraviolet rays and high salt spray along the coast in Oceania, displaying Chinese customized anti-corrosion, anti-ultraviolet, high-reliability elevator products, as well as energy-saving and silent home lift solutions adapted to the Australian market, which have been highly recognized by local purchasers. Australia is the largest elevator market in Oceania. In 2024, China's export volume of elevators and components to Australia increased by 26.8% year-on-year, of which the export volume of home lifts increased by 42.3% year-on-year. This participation has further expanded the share of Chinese elevator products in the Oceania market and promoted the in-depth integration of China's elevator industry with the high-end elevator market in Oceania.
