ISO 8100-30:2025 International Standard for Elevator IoT Monitoring System, Led and Revised by China, Officially Released
This standard is an important part of the ISO 8100 elevator safety series standards, and also the first core technical standard led and formulated by China in the field of international elevator standards. The revision was completed after 3 years, and technical institutions from more than 20 countries around the world participated in the standard discussion and verification. The core contents of the standard include: first, clarifying the architecture, functional requirements and performance indicators of the elevator IoT monitoring system, and standardizing the whole-process technical requirements of data collection, transmission, storage and analysis; second, establishing the classification standards and judgment rules for intelligent early warning of elevator operation risks, and unifying the core data indicators of global elevator IoT monitoring; third, standardizing the network security, data security and privacy protection requirements of the elevator IoT system, adapting to the data compliance requirements of different countries and regions around the world; fourth, clarifying the docking interface standards between the elevator IoT monitoring system and the maintenance, emergency rescue and supervision platforms, realizing data intercommunication across systems and platforms. The release of this standard marks that China's elevator intelligent technology has been fully recognized by the international market, promotes the standardized process of the intelligent development of the global elevator industry, and also provides unified international standard support for the global export of China's elevator intelligent products and solutions, greatly reducing the international trade compliance cost of Chinese elevator products.
