Core upgrade contents of the standard: First, full category coverage, including passenger elevators, freight elevators, medical elevators, home elevators, escalators and moving walks into the fire protection requirement system for the first time, distinguishing the differentiated fire protection design standards of fire elevators and ordinary elevators; Second, mandatory requirements for material flame retardancy, clarifying the flame retardant performance, smoke density and toxicity index requirements of elevator cars, landing doors, shaft enclosure structures, escalator handrails and apron plates. The combustion performance of car interior materials must reach grade B1 and above, and relevant components of fire elevators must meet grade A non-combustible standard; Third, fire linkage specification, unifying the linkage logic between elevators and building automatic fire alarm system, smoke control system, emergency lighting system. In case of fire, ordinary elevators automatically return to the first floor, open the door and power off, and fire elevators automatically switch to fire operation mode; Fourth, fire emergency disposal requirements, clarifying the process and requirements of elevator fire emergency operation, personnel evacuation and emergency rescue. Elevators must be equipped with fire emergency lighting and emergency alarm devices, and the emergency lighting battery life after power failure is not less than 4 hours; Fifth, special fire protection requirements for escalators, clarifying the special requirements for fire blocking, flame retardant materials, automatic fire shutdown and fire linkage of escalators and moving walks. Escalators in public places must be equipped with automatic fire shutdown and sound and light alarm devices.
