This standard is formulated under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Elevator Standardization of China. It is applicable to traction-driven, positive-driven and hydraulic-driven service lifts, covering the whole life cycle safety management of service lifts used in catering, supermarkets, hospitals, libraries and other scenarios. Compared with the old version, the core upgrades of this revision include: first, reconstructing the safety protection system of service lifts, mandating that service lifts with rated load greater than 250kg must be equipped with a linkage device of anti-fall safety gear and speed limiter, and adding mandatory requirements for unintended car movement protection and door mechanical locking device; second, refining the adaptation requirements for extreme working conditions, and formulating special technical indicators for anti-corrosion, high temperature resistance and waterproof of electrical equipment in view of the special environment of high temperature and high humidity in catering scenarios and disinfection corrosion in hospital scenarios; third, improving the installation and acceptance specifications, clarifying the special requirements for shaft enclosure, landing door protection and machine room setting, tightening the tolerance limit of installation accuracy, and improving the whole-process inspection items and judgment standards for factory inspection and on-site acceptance; fourth, adding intelligent safety requirements, clarifying the technical specifications for remote monitoring, intelligent door locks and unattended operation of service lifts, adapting to the intelligent development trend of the industry; fifth, refining the operation and maintenance specifications, clarifying the cycle and project requirements for regular inspection and maintenance of service lifts, and formulating the regular test standards for overload protection and limit devices. The implementation of this standard has comprehensively standardized the production and installation market of service lifts in China, promoted the full integration of service lift technology with the international market, and also provided standardized technical support for the global export of Chinese service lift products, adapting to the procurement demand of service lifts in catering, retail, medical and other scenarios around the world.
