2026 South Korea Seoul International Elevator Exhibition Held in November
On August 19, 2025, the Korea Elevator Association (KEA) officially issued an official announcement, confirming that the 2026 South Korea Seoul International Elevator Exhibition (ILEK 2026) will be held at the KINTEX International Exhibition Center in Seoul, South Korea from November 13 to 15, 2026. Founded in 2004 and held every two years, the exhibition is the largest and most professional exclusive exhibition for the elevator industry in South Korea, and is the core business platform for global elevator enterprises to enter the Korean and Northeast Asian markets. The core planning of this exhibition includes: First, the total exhibition area is 25,000 square meters, and it is expected to attract 280 exhibitors from more than 15 countries around the world, with exhibits covering the whole industrial chain products and technologies such as complete elevator machines, escalators, core components, intelligent control systems, maintenance equipment, green energy-saving technologies, and ultra-high-speed elevator technologies. Second, the Northeast Asia Elevator Industry Innovation and Development Summit Forum will be held at the same time, inviting industry regulatory agencies, association experts and technical representatives from South Korea, China, Japan, Russia and other countries to conduct in-depth discussions on core topics such as mutual recognition of elevator standards in Northeast Asia, market access policies, ultra-high-speed elevator technology, and intelligent elevator development. Third, an innovative technology exhibition area will be set up, focusing on displaying cutting-edge technology products such as ultra-high-speed elevators, intelligent operation and maintenance systems, carbon-neutral elevators, age-friendly and barrier-free elevators, and new suspension system elevators. Fourth, the Korea Elevator Maintenance Personnel Skills Competition and Elevator Design Innovation Competition will be held at the same time to promote the technological innovation and skill level improvement of the Korean elevator industry. Fifth, it is expected to attract more than 30,000 professional visitors from South Korea, China, Japan, Southeast Asia and other regions, covering core procurement groups such as construction developers, elevator distributors, engineering contractors, property management companies, and government bidding and procurement departments.
