Core requirements of the new regulation: First, expanded certification scope, from only complete machine certification to complete machine + core safety components. Safety components without separate certification are prohibited from being sold and installed locally; Second, tightened test requirements, safety components must complete type tests in local laboratories in Uzbekistan, and test reports from overseas laboratories are not accepted. The test items cover all dimensions of mechanical properties, safety properties and durability; Third, mandatory factory audit, enterprises applying for certification must pass the annual factory audit, which covers the whole chain of production process, quality control and raw material procurement; Fourth, adjusted certificate validity period, the validity period of the certification certificate is shortened from 5 years to 3 years, and an annual compliance report must be submitted every year. Certificates not submitted on time will automatically become invalid; Fifth, strengthened market supervision, the customs will list elevators and safety components as key inspection commodities. Products without certification will be directly returned, and enterprises selling in violation of regulations will be blacklisted and prohibited from entering the local market within 3 years.
