In December 2025, the Global Elevator Association Federation (GEEAF) officially released the "2025 Global Elevator Industry Development Report," unveiling the TOP 10 countries with the fastest growth rate in global elevator ownership in 2025. The report revealed that the total global elevator ownership surpassed 22.5 million units in 2025, marking a year-on-year increase of 4.5%, with emerging market countries experiencing significantly higher growth rates than the global average. The TOP 10 ranking released this time is as follows: 1. Vietnam, with an ownership growth rate of 13.2%, ranking first globally; 2. India, with an ownership growth rate of 12.5%, ranking second globally; 3. Indonesia, with an ownership growth rate of 10.8%, ranking third globally; 4. The Philippines, with an ownership growth rate of 9.7%, ranking fourth globally; 5. Egypt, with an ownership growth rate of 8.9%, ranking fifth globally; 6. Saudi Arabia, with an ownership growth rate of 7.8%, ranking sixth globally; 7. Nigeria, with an ownership growth rate of 7.2%, ranking seventh globally; 8. Malaysia, with an ownership growth rate of 6.9%, ranking eighth globally; 9. Thailand, with an ownership growth rate of 6.5%, ranking ninth globally; and 10. Brazil, with an ownership growth rate of 4.8%, ranking tenth globally. The report also pointed out that mature markets such as China, the United States, and the European Union have maintained a stable growth rate in elevator ownership within the range of 1%-3%, indicating that the market has entered a phase of stock renewal. Meanwhile, emerging markets such as Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa are experiencing rapid growth in elevator ownership due to accelerated urbanization and continuous infrastructure development, and are expected to maintain leading growth rates in the next five years.
