This report is compiled by the China Elevator Association in conjunction with the National Technical Committee for Elevator Standardization of China, covering ultra-high speed passenger elevators with rated speed of 6m/s and above. It is the first panoramic development and export report for the segmented field of ultra-high speed elevators in China's elevator industry. The core content and data of the report include: first, the overall industry scale data. In 2024, the annual output of China's ultra-high speed elevators reached 412 units, a year-on-year increase of 16.8%, accounting for 42% of the global total output of ultra-high speed elevators; in 2024, the export volume reached 186 units, a year-on-year increase of 32.7%, the export value exceeded 320 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 28.4%, and the exports cover 28 countries and regions around the world. The annual compound growth rate of export volume from 2020 to 2024 reached 26.2%, which far exceeded the average growth rate of global ultra-high speed elevator trade; second, the export structure ranking of subdivided products. Among the export categories of China's ultra-high speed elevators in 2024, products in the range of 6m/s ≤ rated speed < 10m/s accounted for 62.4%, ranking first; products in the range of 10m/s ≤ rated speed < 16m/s accounted for 31.2%, ranking second; products with rated speed ≥16m/s accounted for 6.4%, ranking third. Among them, the export growth rate of high-speed products of 10m/s and above was the fastest, with a year-on-year increase of 46.8%, and the main export markets were super high-rise landmark building projects in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Russia; third, the ranking of export regional markets. The top 10 countries in terms of China's ultra-high speed elevator export value in 2024 are: United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Russia, Vietnam, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Mexico. Among them, countries along the Belt and Road account for 91.3% of the total export value, the Middle East region accounts for 48.7%, and the Southeast Asia region accounts for 32.5%, which are the core export markets; fourth, the analysis of global market position. The report shows that in 2024, China's ultra-high speed elevator output accounts for 42% of the global total output, and the export volume accounts for 38% of the global total trade volume, ranking second in the world. China has mastered the core technology of ultra-high speed elevators of 18m/s and above, and has formed a complete whole industrial chain system of R&D, design, manufacturing, installation and operation and maintenance. The technical standards and product quality have been widely recognized by the global high-end market; fifth, the analysis of industry development trend. The report points out that the global ultra-high speed elevator market shows three major development trends: first, the continuous implementation of global super high-rise building construction, especially the rapid growth of super high-rise projects in emerging markets such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa, drives the continuous rise in demand for ultra-high speed elevators. It is expected that the average annual growth rate of the global ultra-high speed elevator market will remain above 12% from 2025 to 2027; second, high safety, low noise, high energy saving and intelligence have become the core direction of the technological development of ultra-high speed elevators. Chinese enterprises have achieved breakthroughs in technical fields such as maglev guidance, energy feedback, intelligent vibration and noise reduction, and their export competitiveness continues to improve; third, the global renewal and transformation market of old ultra-high speed elevators in super high-rise buildings is gradually expanding, and the demand for ultra-high speed elevator renewal in mature markets such as Europe, America, Japan and South Korea is beginning to be released, becoming a new growth engine for China's ultra-high speed elevator exports. This report comprehensively presents the development pattern and export trend of China's ultra-high speed elevator industry, and provides authoritative data reference for global super high-rise building elevator purchasers and traders to accurately connect with China's ultra-high speed elevator supply chain.
