Revised National Standard GB/T 32271-2025 Energy Feedback Device for Lifts Officially Released
This standard is formulated under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Elevator Standardization of China. It is applicable to elevator matching energy feedback devices with rated voltage of AC 1000V and below and DC 1500V and below, covering the whole life cycle management of device design, production, inspection, installation, operation and maintenance. Compared with the old version, the core upgrades of this revision include: first, reconstructing the device classification system, dividing into four categories: special for ordinary passenger elevators, special for ultra-high speed elevators, special for heavy-duty goods elevators, and special for escalators according to the applicable elevator types, and three categories: grid-connected type, off-grid type and energy storage type according to the topological structure, and clarifying the applicable scenarios and core technical indicators of different types of devices; second, greatly improving the energy conversion efficiency index, mandating that the energy conversion efficiency of the device under rated working conditions is no less than 96%, which is 3 percentage points higher than the old version, and clarifying the efficiency requirements under different load working conditions to ensure the energy saving effect of the elevator under all working conditions; third, improving the harmonic suppression and power quality requirements, tightening the harmonic current limit of the device, requiring that the grid harmonic distortion rate does not exceed 5% after the device is connected to the grid, which meets the mandatory requirements of GB/T 14549 Harmonics in Public Supply Networks, adding special requirements for reactive power compensation and power factor correction, mandating that the power factor of the device is no less than 0.99; fourth, upgrading the safety protection and electrical performance requirements, clarifying the overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, short circuit, overheat and islanding effect protection functions of the device, adding the special requirements for rapid cut-off and safety interlock of the device under elevator fault conditions, to ensure that the device failure will not affect the safe operation of the elevator; fifth, standardizing the special requirements for energy storage type energy feedback devices, formulating special technical requirements for battery management, charge and discharge protection, cycle life and safety protection for new energy feedback devices matched with energy storage batteries, filling the standard gap of energy storage type elevator energy feedback devices; sixth, improving the installation, commissioning and operation and maintenance specifications, clarifying the adaptive installation and commissioning requirements of the device with the elevator control system and power grid system, formulating the cycle and project requirements for daily inspection, regular maintenance and performance testing of the device, and clarifying the scrapping judgment standard and replacement cycle of the device. The implementation of this standard has comprehensively promoted the upgrading and popularization of elevator energy-saving technology, helped the energy saving and carbon reduction in the construction field and the realization of the national dual-carbon strategic goal, and also promoted the full integration of China's elevator energy-saving products with the international market, further consolidating the core competitiveness of China's energy-saving elevator products in the global market.
