Revised GB/T 10058-2026 Technical Conditions for Elevators Released, Fully Aligned with ISO 8100 International Standard
Core revision contents of the standard: First, expanded speed range, the upper limit of applicable speed is increased from 6m/s to 20m/s, covering the technical requirements of ultra-high-speed elevators, adapting to the needs of super high-rise buildings; Second, upgraded comfort indicators, strictly stipulate the limits of elevator operation vibration, noise, acceleration and deceleration, vertical vibration acceleration ≤0.15g, horizontal vibration acceleration ≤0.1g, operation noise ≤55dB, improving ride experience; Third, strengthened energy efficiency requirements, added elevator energy efficiency classification and test methods, clarified the energy efficiency limits of elevators with different speeds and loads, new elevators must reach E3 level and above, promoting the popularization of energy-saving technology; Fourth, improved safety performance, added technical requirements for electronic speed limiters, non-steel rope suspension devices, and intelligent safety systems, aligning with the latest safety clauses of ISO 8100-2026; Fifth, unified test methods, fully adopting ISO international standard test methods, equipment requirements, and data judgment rules, eliminating domestic and foreign test differences, and helping Chinese elevator exports.
