Completed in October 2026, this modular project in Innsbruck, Austria was delivered around the way its operators move, work and maintain the facility. The alpine base combines incident coordination, medical assessment, gear drying and a vehicle-support workshop. A direct dirty-to-clean route lets returning teams unload wet equipment without crossing the command room.

Dispatch Flow from Alert to Deployment

A graphite and timber envelope sits above snow-safe access points, while the rear elevation groups garage doors and plant where snow clearance can be managed. Heated drying racks and durable floors shorten equipment turnaround.

Snow Gear Recovery and Drying

The strongest operational decision was to place briefing, dispatch and medical assessment around one protected core. Workshop noise and wet gear remain at the perimeter, preserving clear communications during an incident.

Openings, service routes, lifting points and module junctions were resolved before interior close-up. Inspection records covered concealed work, penetration sealing, critical dimensions and transport protection so installation could concentrate on final connections.

Emergency Readiness and Seasonal Handover

Foundations, utility entries and crane positions were checked before delivery. The modules were placed in operating sequence, weather seals and services were completed, and each specialist space was tested against its intended function—not only its visual finish.

Compliance and Project Record

The ICC/MBI off-site standards programme provides a useful reference for dividing factory and site responsibilities where adopted. Final structural, fire, accessibility, energy and operational approvals remain subject to the local authority and appointed project professionals.

  • Room data and specialist equipment were coordinated before production.
  • Factory and site inspection evidence was consolidated for handover.
  • Transport, lifting, connections and commissioning had named responsibilities.
