Core changes of the new regulation: First, mandatory requirements for predictive maintenance, smart elevators must be equipped with AI predictive maintenance system, which can warn the failure of key elevator components 72 hours in advance, with fault root cause analysis and automatic maintenance plan generation functions, and the prediction accuracy is not less than 90%; Second, real-time monitoring system requirements, must be equipped with real-time monitoring of elevator operation status, remote fault alarm, trapped person automatic identification and alarm functions, data can be transmitted to the supervision platform of Singapore Building and Construction Authority in real time; Third, cybersecurity compliance, the networked system of smart elevators must comply with the Singapore Cybersecurity Act, with data encryption, access control, and vulnerability protection functions, and personal information processing complies with the requirements of the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA); Fourth, test and certification process, smart elevators must complete type tests in PSB accredited laboratories, including function test, performance test, cybersecurity test, environmental adaptability test, and pass the factory audit at the same time, before obtaining the PSB certification certificate. The certificate is valid for 5 years and accepts random spot checks every year; Fifth, upgraded energy efficiency requirements, smart elevators must comply with SS 530 Singapore elevator energy efficiency standard, energy efficiency grade reaches level 3 and above, and are encouraged to be equipped with energy feedback and intelligent energy management systems.
