On November 15, 2025, the Elevator Association of India officially issued an official announcement, confirming that the 2026 India International Elevator Exhibition (India International Elevator & Escalator Expo 2026) will be held at the New Delhi International Exhibition Center in India from December 3 to 5, 2026. Founded in 2006 and held every two years, the exhibition is the largest and most professional exclusive exhibition for the elevator industry in South Asia, and is the core business platform for global elevator enterprises to enter the Indian and South Asian markets. The core planning of this exhibition includes: First, the total exhibition area is 40,000 square meters, and it is expected to attract 320 exhibitors from more than 22 countries around the world, with exhibits covering the whole industrial chain products and technologies such as complete elevator machines, escalators, moving walks, core components, intelligent control systems, maintenance equipment, and green energy-saving technologies. Second, the South Asia Elevator Industry Development Summit Forum will be held at the same time, inviting industry regulatory agencies, industry associations and technical experts from South Asian countries such as India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal to conduct in-depth discussions on core topics such as South Asian market access policies, elevator standard updates, infrastructure construction cooperation, and old elevator transformation. Third, set up an innovative technology characteristic exhibition area, focusing on displaying cutting-edge products and solutions such as special elevators suitable for high-temperature and high-humidity environments, intelligent elevators, energy-saving elevators, home elevators, and barrier-free elevators. Fourth, the Indian Elevator Maintenance Personnel Skills Competition will be held at the same time to promote the improvement of the skill level of the elevator maintenance industry in South Asia. Fifth, it is expected to attract more than 25,000 professional visitors from South Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe, Asia and other regions, covering core procurement groups such as construction developers, elevator distributors, engineering contractors, property management companies, and government bidding and procurement departments.
