Compiled by the China Elevator Association jointly with the Chinese Hospital Association and infrastructure departments of Class III A hospitals, this standard applies to bed elevators, medical service elevators, clean medical elevators. Core contents include:

first, clarifying classification and applicable scenarios, divided into three categories: general medical elevators (bed elevators), clean medical elevators, emergency medical elevators, adapting to hospital public areas, clean operating rooms, infectious disease wards and emergency rescue scenarios respectively;

second, strengthening cleanliness and antibacterial requirements, stipulating that elevator car inner walls, floors and door systems must adopt antibacterial stainless steel, antibacterial coating, seamless clean materials, clean elevators meet ISO 14644-1 Class 8 clean standards, equipped with ultraviolet disinfection, ozone disinfection, air purification devices;

third, standardizing mute and comfortable performance, requiring elevator operation noise ≤55dB, door opening/closing noise ≤50dB, operation vibration acceleration ≤0.15g, equipped with smooth start, flexible leveling, mute door operator system to avoid affecting hospital diagnosis and treatment environment;

fourth, improving barrier-free aging-friendly configuration, mandating super large car (≥1800mm×2700mm), low-level control panel, three-sided handrails, stretcher fixing device, one-key direct emergency call, adapting to passage of hospital beds, stretchers and wheelchairs;

fifth, refining emergency rescue functions, clarifying requirements for dual power supply, emergency leveling, power-off continuous operation, medical staff special call for medical elevators, ensuring continuous operation in case of sudden power failure and failure, guaranteeing transportation of emergency and surgical materials;

sixth, standardizing maintenance, formulating special requirements for daily disinfection, weekly inspection, monthly maintenance of medical elevators, clarifying replacement cycle and testing standards for antibacterial components and clean devices.


After implementation, this standard will comprehensively standardize China's medical elevator market, improve safety and quality of medical special elevators, providing Chinese standard reference for global hospital and medical center elevator procurement.
