On November 10, 2025, Budapest Exhibition Company of Hungary officially issued an official announcement, confirming that the 2026 Hungary Budapest International Elevator Exhibition (Hungary Lift Expo 2026) will be held at the Budapest International Exhibition Center in Hungary from November 19 to 21, 2026. Founded in 2016 and held every two years, the exhibition is the largest and most professional exclusive exhibition for the elevator industry in Hungary, and is the core business platform for global elevator enterprises to enter the Hungarian and Central and Eastern European markets. The core planning of this exhibition includes: First, the total exhibition area is 8,000 square meters, and it is expected to attract 160 exhibitors from more than 16 countries around the world, with exhibits covering the whole industrial chain products and technologies such as complete elevator machines, escalators, moving walks, core components, intelligent control systems, maintenance equipment, and green energy-saving technologies. Second, the Central and Eastern Europe Elevator Industry Development Summit Forum will be held at the same time, inviting industry regulatory agencies, industry associations and technical experts from Central and Eastern European countries such as Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Croatia and Romania to conduct in-depth discussions on core topics such as EU elevator standard updates, Central and Eastern European market access policies, cross-border trade cooperation, and old elevator transformation. Third, set up an innovative technology characteristic exhibition area, focusing on displaying cutting-edge products and solutions such as small elevators suitable for historical buildings, home elevators, intelligent elevators, energy-saving elevators, and barrier-free elevators. Fourth, the Hungarian Elevator Maintenance Personnel Skills Competition will be held at the same time to select excellent elevator maintenance technical talents in Central and Eastern Europe and promote the improvement of the skill level of the regional elevator maintenance industry. Fifth, it is expected to attract more than 10,000 professional visitors from Central and Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Russia and other regions, covering core procurement groups such as construction developers, elevator distributors, engineering contractors, property management companies, and government bidding and procurement departments.
