On November 10, 2025, the Spanish Elevator Association (AEA) officially issued an official announcement, confirming that the 14th 2027 Spanish International Elevator Exhibition (SALÓN DEL ASCENSOR 2027) will be held at the Madrid International Exhibition and Convention Center in Spain from March 23 to 25, 2027. Founded in 2001 and held every two years, the exhibition is the largest and most professional exclusive exhibition for the elevator industry in Southern Europe, and is the core business platform for global elevator enterprises to enter the Spanish, Portuguese, Southern European and Latin American markets. The core planning of this exhibition includes: First, the total exhibition area is 12,000 square meters, and it is expected to attract more than 250 exhibitors from more than 25 countries around the world, with exhibits covering the whole industrial chain products such as complete elevator machines, escalators, core components, intelligent control systems, maintenance equipment, and green energy-saving technologies. Second, the Southern Europe Elevator Industry Standard Summit Forum will be held at the same time, inviting industry associations and experts from Spain, Portugal, Italy, France and other countries to conduct in-depth discussions on core topics such as EU elevator standard updates, Southern European market access policies, and cross-border trade cooperation. Third, an innovative technology exhibition area will be set up, focusing on displaying cutting-edge technology products such as energy-saving elevators, intelligent operation and maintenance systems, home elevators, and barrier-free elevators. Fourth, it is expected to attract more than 35,000 professional visitors from Southern Europe, Latin America and other regions, covering core procurement groups such as construction developers, elevator distributors, engineering contractors, and property management companies.
