Completed in September 2026, this modular project in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates was delivered around the way its operators move, work and maintain the facility. The operations center consolidates plant monitoring, technical briefings, switchgear oversight and shift welfare beside a large solar field. Deep canopies and compact shaded links reduce heat exposure between modules.

Control-Room Visibility and Shift Flow

Control and electrical rooms were separated from meeting and welfare areas, with equipment heat loads directed to dedicated service zones. Sand-colored cladding, protected air intakes and cleanable entrances respond to dust and intense sun.

Desert Envelope and Electrical Resilience

Resilience drove the project: monitoring, communications and essential services were arranged around maintainable electrical rooms rather than concealed inside office partitions. This keeps critical work accessible during routine maintenance.

Openings, service routes, lifting points and module junctions were resolved before interior close-up. Inspection records covered concealed work, penetration sealing, critical dimensions and transport protection so installation could concentrate on final connections.

Operational Handover at the Energy Site

Foundations, utility entries and crane positions were checked before delivery. The modules were placed in operating sequence, weather seals and services were completed, and each specialist space was tested against its intended function—not only its visual finish.

Compliance and Project Record

The ICC/MBI off-site standards programme provides a useful reference for dividing factory and site responsibilities where adopted. Final structural, fire, accessibility, energy and operational approvals remain subject to the local authority and appointed project professionals.
